Stand out the right way
Storm seasons attract aggressive door-knockers and pushy sales tactics. Homeowners are often skeptical. Companies that communicate calmly and honestly tend to build better reputations and more referrals.
Explain the inspection process
Use AI to write a simple explanation of what happens during a roof inspection, what you look for, and how you'll share findings. Including photos in your report helps homeowners understand what you saw.
Guide homeowners through insurance
Many homeowners don't know how roof claims work. AI can help you write a general guide covering:
- Documenting damage with photos
- Contacting their insurance company
- What an adjuster visit is like
- Questions to ask their insurer
Be careful not to give insurance advice or make promises about coverage. Follow your state's rules about contractors and insurance claims.
Follow-up messages
After an inspection, use AI-drafted messages to send a summary, answer common questions, and explain next steps. Prompt communication builds confidence.
Educational content
Helpful posts about storm preparation, spotting roof damage from the ground, and choosing a reputable roofer can attract local homeowners searching for help.
Avoid pressure tactics
Don't let AI write urgent, fear-based messages. Honest communication protects your reputation and keeps you compliant with consumer protection rules.
Ask for reviews
After the job is complete, send a short review request. Positive reviews help homeowners choose you during the next storm season.
